Applebee's - Good Will Branding

Since Veterans Day, I took the time to reflect on how grateful I am for my freedom and for all veterans and active duty military protecting freedom every day. I looked at Google Trends today and I noticed a national brand that has been going through a new level.

The large restaurant chain Applebee chose to honor veterans and active duty military and women, offering them a free meal. They offered seven different options for our people totally free service with military identification card of the dishes that offer a variety of salads and meat paste and American burgers!

Applebee has been rewarded for his good deed by a score of itching volcanic explosion Google Trends and search traffic on the internet! Based on traffic trends absolutely exploded Google search terms, including Applebee started this morning, and maximum duty at lunchtime.

The best part of this story is that two deserving organizations were rewarded for their good deeds. Applebee was rewarded with fantastic brand, while our brave veterans and service personnel were invited to a free lunch, at least, they should give.

Unfortunately, this kind of brand is dominated more often. Brands spend thousands, millions, even billions on advertising, promotions and publicity also promote their name. Good deeds will be much cheaper, which helps a group in need, and pick up a great brand recognition and brand loyalty. So the next time you need to build your brand think about it, not greed!
