My husband and I like to try new dishes and Happy Hour offers the perfect opportunity. Now
, I've never been to Spain , but the news that their tradition of tapas
or small plates, is a bit like our happy hours here in Orange County ,
California.
The
best part of attending these events is that you get to taste the food
that otherwise might be a little more expensive when served in the
dining room , and the atmosphere is a little more relaxed . Sometimes , depending on the restaurants you can even meet interesting people and have fun . Most require that you eat at the bar and order a drink , but I have not been yet insisted I have one that is alcohol based .
Our apartment was frugal was the first to introduce one of the best deals in Orange County . Unfortunately
, while the restaurant is run by the same company , changed the name
and took one of the best deals in the county ! It was Thaifoon is the Irvine Spectrum . That was the deal "1,2,3" . Snacks literally $ 1, $ 2 or $ 3 April until the end ! Now , the restaurant is named Ling and Louie . The menu is still a good deal and the terrace is the place to be . Prices rose at half price . But there are still plenty of options. The service can be spotty , so at this point , I'm not weekend . Too crowded and the staff is overworked !
All County Claim Jumper Restaurants have a great happy hour menu . If you are very busy, also happy to grill some fried foods . Free popcorn is still there. The best part , 4-7 , usually have $ 3 on any drink, even simple size pizzas ! If you want, you can order from the regular menu . Remember,
this is a very popular chain , so come early and is not picky about
what the table is obtained - glad that you are able to get one!
The Beachfire Grill has two locations . One in Ladera Ranch , one on , what else, one of the many beaches of the area ! My husband likes to order the bacon burger with cheddar cheese . Comes with fries for $ 6. If you order the same thing on the dinner menu in the dining room - double the price . I like some of the salads . The atmosphere is just what you expect . Ladera Ranch unit usually shows . The artwork is for sale . If you love the beach scenes , this place is a treasure.
The Yard House has several restaurants in the area . Each one has a lively atmosphere , with lots of variety and are quite noisy. But there are many on the happy hour menu choice - all good. It is ideal for a large group and share.
Most

restaurants in Orange County have liberal menu / happy hour appetizer . Popular : Margarita Mondays and Taco Tuesdays!
