After a day of wandering around and walking in the city Dessert Zombie and I felt a little munchy - or so it was, and he pleased when I realized we were close to McCormick & Schmick . Our waiter was very nice , said the happy hour for us, and it was never neglected despite my order a drink (I had a beer) . We started with the calamari ,mccormick and schmick happy hour which was definitely frozen squid type - with many tentacles - but fortunately , not even I like tentacles DZ ( I think they have another kind of mash, and are a beautiful mix chewing rings slightly sweet ) . Seriously, this top plate is $ 3.95 ( plus tax , tip, and drink minimum order ) ... and was a solidly decent burger . There is even a pickle spear on the plate. This is not the most amazing burger of my life ,mccormick and schmick happy hour but considering that you can get for about $ 10 total ( with soda ) ,happy hour mccormick and schmick this is an amazing deal for happy hour ... on those nights that focus more on alcohol than eat amazing food , yes , please! The fries were good too . I will not lie - I was very happy with my choice and DZ did not seem at all put off by the offerings either.
